CUET EXAM SYLLABUS 2023:-

Aspirants who are preparing and have registered for the CUET application form must know the CUET syllabus 2023. In this article, we have been providing the entire CUET exam pattern 2023 and CUET syllabus 2023. The CUET Syllabus has been prepared by NTA(National Testing Agency) by gathering all the essential topics from Class-12th & to test your academic knowledge, language & general awareness.

The Common Universities Entrance Test 2023 syllabus has been specified by the National Testing Agency on the official website. The syllabus mainly consists of the following sections namely-

• Section IA – 13 Languages 
• Section IB – 20 Languages 
• Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects 
• Section III – General Test

Aspirants who are preparing for the exam are suggested to prepare for domain-specific topics from the NCERT textbooks.

CUET Exam Pattern For UG

Section IB – Languages	It has 20 Languages i.e. Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Sanskrit).
Section II – Domain	Input text can be used for MCQ Based Questions• MCQs based on NCERT Class XII syllabus only
Section III – General Test	• Input text can be used for MCQ Based Questions• General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/s tat taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning

List of Languages for CUET

The CUET exam will be conducted in 13 languages (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu) by NTA (National Testing Agency).

CUET (UG) will consist of 4 sections i.e.

1. Section IA –  It has 13 Languages i.e. Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Gujarati)

2. Section IB- It has 20 Languages i.e. Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Sanskrit).

3. Section II- It has 27 Domain-Specific Subjects

4. Section III- It consists of a General test. It is an optional test for vocational/cross-stream/open eligibility tests.

• The CUET exam will have all multiple-choice questions.
• Section IA & IB- The candidate has to choose a maximum of 3 languages from Section IA and Section IB taken together (Domain-specific subjects must be replaced by one of the languages chosen.)
• Section Two provides 27 subjects and the candidate has to choose a maximum of 6 subjects from Section II and General Test under Section III. The candidate must refer to the requirements of his or her intended university.
