NEET UG Counseling: The NEET exam is the qualification exam for medical courses like MBBS and BDS in India. Earlier the NEET exam was called the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT). The National Testing Agency (NTA) is used to conduct the examination. The NTA and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were used to conduct the NEET exam before.

During the registration process, the candidate has to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- and as a security deposit, an amount of Rs.10,000 has to be paid by candidates belonging to the general category. These amounts are non-refundable.

What if students don’t get any seats in medical college?

If any of the students are unable to get a seat in the Medical college, there is no need to worry. There are so many other courses with equal interest and challenges such as Pharmacy, Nutrition, Clinical Research, Nursing, etc. that they can go for.

Due to any reason can students participate only in the second round of counselling?

Students who got a seat in the first round can complete the process of admission and can move further to the second round. If not they can also surrender their seat and can participate in the next round.
