KVS Syllabus 2022: KVS is going to organize exams to fulfill the requirements of PRT, TGT, and PGT in Kendriya Vidhyalaya School. For the PRT KVS exam, the paper is written examination is divided into 2 sections, paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 tests language knowledge and it consists of questions from Hindi and English language.

Paper 1

General English includes articles, prepositions, narrations, punctuations, fill in the blanks, comprehension, adverb, sentence rearrangement, error correction, unseen passages, vocabulary, idioms, antonyms, synonyms, verbs, adjectives, tenses, modal, subject-verb agreement, voice.

Paper 2 consists of questions on reasoning, computer literacy, pedagogy, and the subject concerned. 

Paper 2 

General knowledge and current affairs;

involve awards, sports, books & their authors, History- Ancient, geography, Medieval & Modern, polity, current affairs, population census, music, Indian Art & Culture.

Reasoning Ability;

includes mirror image, puzzles, Directions, seating arrangement, syllogism, blood relation, data sufficiency, coding-decoding, order and ranking, logical reasoning, and alphanumeric symbol series.

Computer literacy;

involves topics related to abbreviations, web technology, Basic Computer Terminology & Shortcuts, browsers, database management systems, and search engines, General Concept of Social Networking, the internet, computer memory or storage devices, history and evaluation of computers, computer software & hardware, generations, and types of computers, operating systems.

Pedagogy;

involves topics from Childhood and development of children: Growth &  development, Physical, Motor, Social and Emotional development, Principles(ii) Education and Curriculum: Learning, Learner and Teaching, Knowledge and curriculum, Facilitating personal growth, application In teaching, Knowledge, and Methods of inquiry, Learners and their context, Pedagogic practice and the process of Learning ICT in education, Curriculum types, Curriculum perspective in the classroom

iii) Methodology: Understanding Language and its skills i.e. Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing and early Literacy, Language and Communication, Planning for Teaching, Classroom Management, Diagnostic and Remedial Teaching
