The National Testing Agency reopened the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2023 application portal today. Candidates have until April 11th at 11:59 pm to apply. Aspirants can use it through the official website — cuet.samarth.ac.in.
In a major update for the CUET 2023 aspirants, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2023 application portal.
Candidates can apply until April 11th at 11:59 pm via the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The Chairman of UGC, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, announced on Twitter last Saturday, stating that the application for CUET-UG 2023 will be reopened from April 9th to April 11th, with the deadline set at 11:59 pm.
So far, CUET-UG 2023 has received around 14 lakh registrations, a notable 41% increase from the previous year. This makes the CUET-UG the second-largest entrance exam in the country. It’s worth mentioning that some aspirants needed clarification about the impact of rationalizing NCERT textbooks on their entrance exams.
But, officials at the National Testing Agency (NTA) have confirmed that the notified syllabus will remain the same, as the exam accommodates students from various boards, only some of which have rationalized their content.
In its first edition, the CUET-UG received 12.50 lakh registrations and 9.9 lakh applications. The most significant entrance test in India remains the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG) for medical admissions, which attracts an average of 18 lakh applicants.
This application deadline extension provides a valuable window of opportunity for those who still need to register. Take advantage of this extended period and submit your application on time.
