UP TGT PGT Syllabus 2022 And New Exam Patten

UP TGT PGT Syllabus: TGT is a trained graduate teacher and PGT is Post Graduate Teacher. UP TGT and PGT are organised by UPSESSB. To applying UP TGT the aspirant should hold a B.Ed degree and have passed UP TET or CTET or NET. 

For applying UP PGT the aspirant should have B. Ed or M.Ed degree, have passed post-graduation and have crossed UP TET or CTET or NET. 

UP TGT PGT Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for TGT are written examination and document verification.

Selection criteria for PGT are written examination, interview, special qualification weightage and document verification.

UP TGT PGT Exam Pattern

To become eligible as TGT a candidate should need to clear the UP TGT exam. Written examination for UP TGT is conducted by UPSESSB.

The written examination consists of 125 questions, which are in MCQ format. The time period to complete the written examination is 2 hours. In this written examination, the candidate gets 4 correct marks for the correct answer and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.

TGT

The written exam consists of 4 sections; general awareness section, English, quantitative aptitude, and concerned subject.

PGT

The written examination consists of 125 questions, which are in MCQ format. The time period to complete the written examination is 2 hours. In this written examination, the candidate gets 3.4 correct marks for the correct answer and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer.

After the written examination, there is also one interview round to become eligible for PGT.

UP TGT PGT Weightage

For TGT written exam carries 100 per cent weightage.

For PGT written exam carries 85 per cent, 10 per cent from interviews and 5 per cent from special qualifications.
